This year the camp will be held in the Turf Gym and will be run by our High School Softball Team with all proceeds benefiting their annual trip in spring to Kentucky.
This camp is open to all 1st - 8th graders (25-26 school year) in the Denmark School District.
Players will be grouped by age and the drills will be modified for each skill level as appropriate.
Sometimes camps like this are lightly attended by the older athletes, but we would strongly encourage all to sign up as our high school athletes will be talking about what it takes to play high school ball and what is expected.
There are two sessions offered and players can attend one or both:
10 a.m. till Noon - All Skills Camp - Cost is $30.
This will focus on all phases of the game, with a strong emphasis on the "why", developing/enhancing softball IQ and being a great teammate.
12:15 p.m. till 1:30 p.m. - Pitching Camp - Cost is $20.
This camp will show various drills and also talk about the player's mindset while pitching. Anyone attending this camp should bring their own catcher (can be a parent, family member, friend, etc. Any peer catchers should wear catching gear)
